You must be at least 25 years of age in order to rent one of our cabins.
Please, no glass items on our beaches or in our watercrafts.
Cancellations must be received at least 30 days prior to arrival date.
If notification of a cancellation is received 29 days or less prior to the arrival date, the guest will be responsible for the full amount of the reservation and a refund will not be provided.
In the unlikely event that you must shorten your stay or check out early once your reservation has begun, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. There are no refunds for early departure.
We reserve the right to treat a partial cancellation as a cancellation for the entire stay.
Should you fail to cancel your reservation and not arrive at Lazy H Campground, you are responsible for the entire reserved stay.
We regret we are unable to offer refunds due to inclement weather or family/medical emergencies that alter reservations.
AUTHORIZED USE & GUESTS
Our Creekside cabins allow for 2 adults and up to 4 children and our Lakeside cabins allow for 4 adults and up to 8 children. Outside guests are allowed on a daily basis at a rate of $5.00 per person. Children 5 and under are free. Visiting hours are from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and visitors must be checked in by management and will be provided a wrist- band. You will be responsible for any damages to the Lazy H campground property caused by your guests.
Gate codes are for renting guests only. If a gate code is given to a non-renting guest you will be asked to leave the premises without refund.
No pets are allowed in our cabins.
CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT
Check in is between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. CST. Check-in after 7:00 p.m. must be pre-approved. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m., no late checkouts.
An initial amount of firewood will be supplied. Firewood in excess of the initial supply will be subject to a small fee. Please DO NOT transport any firewood onto the premises. Outside firewood may contain pests or fungi that may be harmful to our campground.
All fires must be contained inside the fire cones located on each site. Campfires cannot be left unattended. Fire cones must not be used to dispose of trash, cans, bottles, etc. All fires must be extinguished before leaving.
In an effort to help reduce landfill waste we are a Recycle-friendly campground. Bins have been placed at each cabin and we encourage their use. Tin, plastic, and cardboard items may be placed in the provided bin as long as they are clean and rinsed if applicable. Glass items are considered trash. We take pride in the cleanliness of our campground. Please do not litter. This includes cigarette butts!
A license is not required unless you take fish from the premises. Please see fishing guidelines located in each cabin.
No live bait except for earthworms.
Swimming is at your own risk. We will not have a lifeguard on duty. Anyone under the age of 12 will be required to wear a life-vest. We have several life-vests for your use but to ensure a proper fit we highly recommend bringing your own. Parents and guardians are responsible for their child’s safety.
No swimming after sunset.
No outside watercraft (boats, kayaks, canoes, etc.) will be allowed into the campground. We want to protect our lake from all invasive species. We do have a wide variety of watercrafts for rent! Please see website for options and pricing.
Obey posted speed limits. Each cabin will be allowed two passenger vehicles. No motorized recreational vehicles will be allowed into our campground, including motorbikes.
At this time tent camping is not allowed.
If there is any damage or missing items, you will be charged accordingly. We expect each unit to be left in a tidy condition and all dishes washed. If there are any damaged or missing items we will charge accordingly. We do inventory our items before and after occupancy. Absolutely NO smoking in our cabins. In the event that the renter is found smoking in the cabin, you will be asked to leave immediately and may be issued an extra cleaning fee.
Destruction of any property or any natural habitat will require the guest to vacate the premises immediately without refund.
Please do not throw rocks into lake.
No parking on grass.
Please do not remove furniture from cabin porches. Furniture that is around the firepit area is to remain on the concrete surfaces.
No fireworks permitted.
No hunting is allowed. The Lazy H Campground is a wildlife sanctuary and we want to ensure the safety of our guests and our wildlife.
Campground quiet time is from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Parents/guardians are responsible for any child within your cabin.
Occupancy and use of premises shall not disturb or offend surrounding residents. Lazy H Campground reserves the right to terminate this agreement and require the guest to vacate the premises immediately without refund.
