RV POLICIES

Reservations must be made prior to arrival.

No Tent Camping or staking anything into the grass.

You must be at least 21 years of age in order to reserve a camping site.

2 night minimum on weekends.

ALL guests and visitors must be signed in. Visiting hours are 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. All visitors must be checked in by 7:00 p.m. and pay a $10.00 per person entrance fee. Children 5 and under are free.

DO NOT share gate code.  Gate codes are for guests only.  If a gate code is given to a non-renting guest, you may be asked to leave the premises without a refund. 

Prices include up to 6 total RV occupants per site. Additional overnight guests may be charged a fee.

Everyone is required to have a life-vest if using a kayak, canoe, paddle board, pedal boat, pontoon, and/or Jon boat.  These are provided by the Lazy H and must be returned at the end of your rental.

Children under 12 must have a life-vest when swimming. These are not supplied and cannot be rented.

Must be 18 to rent a pontoon, or Jon boat. 

Please do not detach Lily Pads from their anchors.

Please, no glass items on our beaches or in our watercrafts. 

Please do not place grills or hot items on picnic tables.

No underage drinking.

No drones.

Please, no political signs and posters.

RESERVATIONS

Full payment is required at time of reservation.

No more than one camping unit per site.  A camping unit is defined as a travel trailer, pop-up, fifth wheel, or motorhome. No sleeping in vehicles or enclosed storage trailers.

No tent camping. 

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations must be received one week (7 days) prior to arrival date. 

A $25.00 cancellation fee will be applied to all cancellations and will be assessed per site.

A $10.00 fee will apply to partial cancellations.

Reservations cannot be sold or transferred. Please contact office to discuss further.

If notification of a cancellation is received less than one week (7 days) from arrival date, the guest will be responsible for the full amount of the reservation and a refund will not be provided. 

There are no refunds for an early departure. 

Should you fail to cancel your reservation and not arrive at Lazy H Campground, you are responsible for the entire reserved stay. 

We regret we are unable to offer refunds due to inclement weather or family/medical emergencies that alter reservations.

CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT

Check-in is between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. CST. Please contact us if checking in after 7:00 p.m. No checking in after dark.

Check-out is by 12:00 p.m., no late checkouts, this includes campground and lake access.

(Cabin check-out is 10:00 a.m. and is strictly enforced)  

No early check-ins.

AUTHORIZED USE & GUESTS

Visitors are welcome but must stop and register at the check-in booth and pay a $10 per person/per day fee. Children 5 and under are free. Visiting hours are from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm and all visitors must be checked in by 7:00 pm.

All visitor vehicles require a pass to be displayed in the front window and all visitors will be required to wear a wristband.   

Please park in designated overflow parking.  Do not park in roadway. Two vehicles per campsite.

No parking in empty campsites.  A site charge will apply if occupied. 

No visiting pets.   

PETS

Household pets are allowed but must remain on a leash no longer than 6’ and be attended at all times.

Maximum of 2 pets per site. 

No pets allowed in or outside of our cabins.

You must clean up after your pets and dispose of waste in appropriate receptacles. 

No pets allowed in restrooms or in any other public building or on any boat or water rental.  Owners are responsible for any claim, loss or damage caused by their pet(s). 

Small pet fencing is allowed but no staking into the grass. If away from site, please move fencing to concrete pad as to not impede mowing. If staying for an extended time please move fencing to different areas.

Pets must be up to date on vaccinations. 

Absolutely no aggressive pets.

NO EXCESSIVE BARKING. 

If your pet disturbs others you may be asked to leave without refund.    

FIREWOOD

Please DO NOT transport any firewood onto the premises.  Outside firewood may contain pests or fungi that may be harmful to our campground.  We will have firewood for sale at the campground. 

All fires must be contained inside the fire rings located on each site.  Campfires cannot be left unattended.  Fire rings must not be used to dispose of trash, cans, bottles, etc.  All fires must be extinguished before leaving. 

TRASH

In an effort to help reduce landfill waste we are a recycle-friendly campground.  Tin, plastic, and cardboard items may be placed in the recycle bins as long as they are clean and rinsed if applicable.  Glass items are considered trash.  To aid in our recycling effort, blue recycle bags will be handed out at check-in.   

For your convenience we will pick up trash and recycling every morning.  Please set bags on the roadside by 10:00 a.m.  You may also take trash and recycling to our collection area if after 10:00 a.m.    

We take pride in the cleanliness of our campground.  Please do not litter.  This includes cigarette butts!

FISHING

A license is not required to fish at the Lazy H. 

No live bait except for earthworms.  Earthworms are available for purchase at our rental barn.

Fishing in designated areas only.  Please see map.  No fishing from beaches.    

Catch limits are strictly enforced.  Please see welcome kit for fishing guidelines.  Lazy H Campground encourages catch and release for the future enjoyment of our campers. 

Fishing only from sunrise to sunset.  No nighttime fishing.    

SWIMMING

Swimming is at your own risk.  We WILL NOT have a lifeguard on duty.  Anyone under the age of 12 will be required to wear a life-vest.  Parents and guardians are responsible for their child’s safety. 

No swimming after sunset.

No glass containers or bottles on beach.

OUTSIDE WATERCRAFT

No outside watercraft (boats, kayaks, canoes, etc.) will be allowed into the campground.  We want to protect our lake from all invasive species.  We do have a wide variety of watercrafts for rent!  Please see website and welcome kit for options and pricing. 

No outside Lily Pads.

MOTORIZED VEHICLES

Obey posted speed limits.

We allow two vehicles per site in addition to your camping unit.  Overflow parking is available. 

Please DO NOT park or drive on any grass.  

No motorized recreational vehicles will be allowed into our campground, other than cars/trucks, golf carts and electric assist scooters. No motorbikes (dirt-bikes).

GOLF CARTS

Golf carts are acceptable as long as they fit on camping pad and cart and trailer are not to be placed on any grass. 

No golf carts after dark. Driving back to your site from visiting another camper/cabin is acceptable.

Orange safety flag required.      

Must be 16 years old and have a valid driver’s license when operating. You will be given one warning if a child under 16 is found to be driving a golf cart. If caught again you will be asked to park the golf cart where it will remain for the rest of your visit. Children under 16 cannot drive a golf cart even if they are with an adult.

Absolutely no joy-riding. Golf carts are for the camper’s convenience to go from one place to another.

No trails and no driving on sidewalks or grass.

TENTS

Tent camping is not allowed. 

OCCUPANCY

Destruction of any property or any natural habitat will require the guest to vacate the premises immediately without refund.

Alcohol is prohibited on our trail system.  Kegs are not allowed in the campground. 

Smoking is prohibited in public buildings including shelter houses and bathhouses. 

No glass bottles or containers on beach or in any watercraft. 

Please do not throw rocks into lake.

No parking on any grass.

No fireworks permitted.

No clotheslines.

Please use designated sidewalks.  Do not walk through other’s campsites. 

No hunting is allowed. The Lazy H Campground is a wildlife sanctuary and we want to ensure the safety of our guests and our wildlife.

Campground quiet time is from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Parents/guardians are responsible for any child at your campsite

Tank water shall be disposed in designated areas only.  Disposal on open ground is prohibited.

All campers and guests assume any and all risks of injury and damage to their person or property arising from and out of their entrance upon and/or use of the Lazy H Campground.  The Lazy H campground is not responsible for any accidents or damages to persons or property.  Any violation of the rules can result in the denial of entrance and use privileges.  We reserve the right to deny entrance and use privileges to Lazy H Campground to any person.

Occupancy and use of premises shall not disturb or offend surrounding residents. Lazy H Campground reserves the right to terminate this agreement and require the guest to vacate the premises immediately without refund.

Please keep all area rugs, hoses, and cables on the concrete pad.

Please keep all yard ornaments, satellite dishes, dog leashes, etc. off the grass.

Please No Vehicle Washing- car wash is located directly across from the campground entrance.

Drive slowly through the park.

Mechanical repairs and oil changes are not permitted in the campground.
